Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. Biles is believed to be one of the greatest athletes. As the only U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the sole gymnast who won four gold medals in the same Games during the 2016 Olympics. Biles was the only person to have three world championships in succession. Biles was raised at Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where her and her sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone became interested in gymnastics when she was just six when she took a field trip for day care in Bannon's Gymnastix and remained there for 11 years under supervision of instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite competition in the year 2011. Biles was a dominant athlete just two years later. Biles stood out for her consistently high performance and exuberant personality as well as the difficult routines she performed at each of the four events such as vault, bars with uneven surfaces and balance beam.
